    Pros

Some really good genuine people. Hard working. Some People willing to go the extra mile to deliver. Good office standard in head office. Part of Saint-Gobain.

    Cons

Very negative atmosphere. There are some very aggressive individuals at the top of this business. No shared vision and strategy. Just keep pushing.

I have been working at Saint-Gobain full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

If you are looking for a company with great people(colleagues) to work with then this is the company for you. Colleagues are helpful, friendly and sociable.

    Cons

In some departments You will have no work life balance in this company as there arent enough resources.Management have high expectations of all of their employees with no understanding of the amount of work assigned. Stress levels are high in some departments and senior management do not even notice this. The gender pay gap exists and there is also a big pay gap between union and non union employees (union employees fare better)

I have been working at Saint-Gobain for more than 8 years

    Pros

Some great people who are willing to go the extra mile when needed

    Cons

A really tough place to work, very demanding, more so than I have ever encountered in other companies. Huge pressure to achieve a wide range of objectives, with very little in the way of resources. Would not recommend to anyone I care about.

    I worked at Saint-Gobain full-time

    Pros

some good people to work with. Taken on board world class manufacturing procedures and practise so educational from that perspective.

    Cons

Very tough work environment. Focus on deadlines and not people, high stress levels coupled with almost "breaking" people on leadership courses. If I wanted to be in the army I would have joined it!

    I have been working at Saint-Gobain full-time

    Pros

If you spend a few years in Gyproc, you will build your resilience and be able to work anywhere, for anyone. You will not get a tougher challenge or more aggressive environment or direction.

    Cons

You will have no work-life balance in this organisation. You will be driven to deliver at pace, without adequate resources or training. Senior management are single minded to deliver results but constantly change KPIs and business priorities without dropping any of the original priorities. Absolute pressure pot.

I have been working at Saint-Gobain for more than 10 years

    Pros

Colleagues and company ethos are excellent. Business prospects are improving and the company is currently recruiting additional people and investing

    Cons

Salary and bureaucracy are not great. Being part of a multinational means that decision making can be quite slow and remote. Also, salary levels are not great
