Have made friends and we support each other daily at work as not much support elsewhere

Team Leaders missing , not there to support there team, IT system is out of date, to many software programs to operate , it gets confusing. Staff made to feel pressurised because SSE need to be seen as compliant yet throw staff under a bus as quick Customer Service Reps dumping customers on us that they dont wish to speak with, sign of bad training . Management not listening to staff concerns major one Money could be better .

Pros
The people - I have met some great, hard-working people since I started who have become good friends. My job can be very varied and challenging, but also very enjoyable and I've learned a lot so far. The senior leadership team has changed in the last couple of years and a lot of things have improved as a result. Staff were well looked after during the pandemic. The energy industry is a really interesting place to work at the moment. I could see myself having the opportunity to build a long-term career here.

Parking is limited, although this is less of an issue now with the flexibility of working from both home and the office.
