I worked at SAI Global full-time

    Pros

You can still find a few good, hard working, ethical and knowledgeable people left but they’re most likely interviewing. The work from home due to COVID-19 is a nice perk because the open floor plan in the offices isn’t conducive to getting anything done. Didn’t we find that out sometime around 2010???? One of many inane CEO decisions.

    Cons

Well, none really, unless you like a job where: • Your input is never taken seriously and all decisions come from the CEO and the “yes men” of the senior leadership team. • You don’t ever question decisions made by the management team, you instead like to just do as you’re told, no matter how ridiculous the idea. • You don’t care about raises and bonuses, because those don’t happen at SAI Global and in the off chance the a bonus does happen, it’ll be enough for a couple of cappuccino’s at Starbucks. • You love the book “The Emperor’s New Clothes” because you’ll be working for an Emperor just like the one in the book. • You like to feel dirty each day after work because of the things you have to do to stay employed – sucking up to management, not doing the right thing for customers, screwing over other co-workers, and following orders that make no sense.

I worked at SAI Global full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There are very few. I enjoyed a few of the people I worked with. Work from home both pre and during COVID. The risk and compliance products are so necessary and every business needs to these products.

    Cons

I always review Glassdoor and I think it's important to know about a company. I didn't believe the negative reviews but it turned out they were correct. - Employees are undervalued, despite the effort and hours they put in. Everyone works around the clock it feels and you are looked down upon for having a life outside of work. - Management has no idea how the business is doing. There are reorgs multiple times during a year and they still can't figure it out. - There is little collaboration and no one was willing to help when asked for assistance - very, very, very little training on the products. You are expected to speak to and know the products but there is no training on how and what the products did Overall, working at SAI Global taught me what kind of business I NEVER want to work for again. All experiences are a learning experience and I am grateful for that however my time here was short because I knew within the first month that this was not the place for me. Young professionals do not strive here; the employees have all been at SAI Global for years and it's hard to break in and make an impact despite them needing a refresh.

I have been working at SAI Global full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Team members, collaboration, flexible schedule with 1-2 days work from home allowance, market leaders, great new content in Learning. Work life balance is generally very good, people don't seem to work more than 7-8 hours a day

    Cons

Lots of change and more to come, old systems the company seems to be stuck with, when teams are at capacity often cause for longer work days to meet deadlines.

I have been working at SAI Global full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I worked at SAI Global for 3 years, left to try something new, and came back 9 months later. The grass isn't always greener, and I didn't realize how much I enjoyed working at SAI Global until I was gone. The company is full of smart, passionate people who you will learn from and enjoy working with most of the time. The company is an industry leader that works with hundreds of Fortune 1000 companies and has had some of those customers for 5+ and 10+ years. They offer flexible vacation and work from home policies. Overall, if you're interested in risk, compliance, ethics, and corporate culture, there is no better company to work for.

    Cons

No company is perfect, but the pros outweigh the cons. None of the cons are so significant that they'll impact your job or experience working there in the long term (in my experience), but there may be some frustrating days and I think that's the truth with any job you may have. If the cons were so bad, I would not have returned.

I have been working at SAI Global full-time

    Pros

Work from home. There are a couple people who are great to work with.

    Cons

No direction or support from management. No one really wants to help, if you do ask for help you're directed to your manager, who also has no idea. Managers play their favourites. Malice trumps kindness.

    Pros

-Can work from home in PM and Sales Team -Corporate building nice - Nice dedicated people working hard to service customers in a challenging environment
