I have been working at RECRUITERS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is one of the best agencies in Ireland and it's not hard to see why - everyone genuinely cares about the job, about the clients and about the candidates.

The team is collaborative and friendly with a strong social club and management is always there to give guidance where needed.

Ideas are encouraged and valued and RECRUITERS just keep growing from strength to strength.

    Cons

As it's an agency it's obviously very pressurised and hard to accept what you can't control - not a reflection on RECRUITERS, more the world of agency recruitment!

    Pros

The atmosphere is nice, the team is close knit, the bosses are approachable, the company ethos is honourable.

    Cons

No career progression and nobody inspirational to learn from.

    Loyalty was not rewarded..

Management decisions and sensitive information shared inappropriately .

A high level of recruitment practices / skills are absent.

    Advice to Management

Deliver the same standards as managers which you expect from your recruiters.

Move forward with the changing face of recruitment - use technology properly, sell managed service contracts, negotiate effectively.

Don't take your employees, candidates or clients for granted.

    Pros

I met some lovely people - we used to have great fun in the office and on nights out.

    Cons

The bosses were too often not in agreement, they played favourites & did not respect personal boundaries. I left to go to another job and they tried to refuse paying me what they owed me. The only consistent behaviour I saw from one member of management was to slander every former employee professionally and personally. While I like him as a person (but not a boss), I am amazed he is not in court every day of the week.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to what staff are actually delivering business-wise instead of how you feel about them.
Stop talking about people's appearances, family matters and personal circumstances - it is highly unprofessional, sets a terrible example to new employees and could have serious repercussions if an opportunist was working there.
Focus on doing well in your own right instead of caring so much about how you appear to the mother-ship (CPL).
