    I worked at RAPP

    Pros

Decent benefits, friendly co-workers and tasty snacks.

    Cons

Absolutely awful management, corporate politics as usual

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with care. Invest in real training and don’t throw good, talented people away. Listen when employees give you feedback.

I worked at RAPP full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There are a sprinkling of good people in the trenches. Great work being done in the other markets and around the world. NOT IN THE DALLAS OFFICE

    Cons

Creative is poor in the Dallas office. Creative leadership has no courage. If you’re a young creative you’ll be brought in and run though the grinder for mediocre to sub par work. ECD seems to be like-able but just doesn’t have what it take to do amazing work. ECD role at Rapp is basically the account director or a figure head. No true creative leadership with any kind of pedigree. Run for the hills!!!!! avoid at... all costs!!!!!

    Advice to Management

Get some true creative leadership that can guide and who has been around greatness. When you put someone who’s never been around great work you’ll never get it.

I have been working at RAPP

    Pros

Good pay and benefits, good location

    Cons

Nowhere to sit in the office unless you're full time, tons of gossip/complaining about employees behind their backs, judgmental atmosphere

    Advice to Management

There's more of an emphasis on office politics than actual quality of work and office morale is very low because of it. Seems like all the new hires quit in less than a year.

I have been working at RAPP full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Some of the hardest working, efficient group of people I've ever worked with. RAPP is pretty new to the city, after winning two embedded accounts within the Omnicom network, the agency is hiring like crazy. If you like data, behavior, and technology, then this is a great place to be. You'll actually do the work you talk about doing here. The working environment is pretty flexible. It's very busy but you can work... from home when you need to.

    Cons

Because there's so much focus on data and technology, much of the focus on creativity gets lost. At times we are too template driven, to channel specific, and not willing to push the thinking. Imagine what we could do if we just took a risk. Chicago is still under the LA and Dallas P&L, which means that our leadership is dispersed throughout other offices and are often disengaged when it's not convenient to be... involved.

    Advice to Management

Invest in Chicago leadership and in a culture for RAPP. Embedded culture is not RAPP culture and will create a revolving door if this isn't fixed.
