      Pros

Prudential Overall Supply has a great culture. It's family owned and operated, and it is a great place to grow.

      Cons

I have been here for 4 months and I don't have anything negative to say.

        Pros

This is the most well-intentioned company I worked for as it relates to sales training, customer relations, etc.

        Cons

There are 'intentions' and then there's the reality of the market. Prudential clearly has a well established reputation in southern California, BUT it became very clear, very quickly, that their near anonymity when navigating in markets well established by Cintas, Aramark, etc. only serves to their detriment. (The training they provided helped one navigate well within the Prudential world, but provided nothing when it came to addressing the competition.)

          Pros

If you're someone who performs and you're looking for a career, Prudential is definitely the place to be. They move quickly on people who show promise, become actively involved in their future, their training and getting them to the GM level. Family-owned and operated, the GM's are given a lot of autonomy and trust to run their facility as long as it's run within company guidelines and the operator shows good judgement. Ideas are heard from the Executive Group and feedback is ongoing. They send their GM's to Executive Management training programs, offer tuition reimbursement without a thousand hoops to get it done, benefits and hands-on assistance with them. Profit sharing, 401kmatch and the C-Suite is always looking for ways to be competitive. They allow leaders to think outside the box and encourage that. Unlike large, corporate, management heavy companies, Prudential is open to trying new things as long as it stays within the basic culture of the company. The owner visits every facility multiple times a year, completing a Route Observation (or 2) and several customer visitations, keeping his ear to the ground.

          Cons

Once you've become a GM there isn't really much room for advancement past that point. The above Pros rely largely on who your Regional Manager is, some are much more inspirational than others.

            Pros

Prudential Overall Supply is a safe environment and a company that values longevity and family values. Work will always be there.

            Cons

Prudential pays their sales reps the lowest in the industry. Upper management micro-manages from the top-down waisting valuable time that could be used to sell.

          Underwriter

I've completed an initial phone screening interview, followed by a 2-hour interview with the Department VP. Next in the process are three separate 90-minute peer interviews. Is there a possibility of another interview after the peer interviews, or should I anticipate receiving an offer?

I have an interview with the owner coming up and how would you answer if the they ask when I can start when I have two set/booked vacations in the upcoming months? For reference: I leave for one in 2 weeks for a month and the other one is in the beginning of December for 2 weeks. I don’t want to say immediately because of the trips, but if I don’t say immediately then I might lose the job. Help!

Hello guys, I applied as Chemical engineer in a big company and I did with them all the interview steps (last one on 05/09/23), at the time of the interview there was no job opening and I got the interview through another division. Last week I received an email saying that they will let me know their final decision by the end of this week. Today I have received an email (with the job description attached) scheduling a call in few days for sharing the decision. Do they want to reject me on call?
