I have been working at Primark full-time

    Pros

Good pay after yrs of employment

    Cons

No respect Made to feel like the smallest person alive. Hr(p&c) use bully tactics wont belive anything you say. Harassed by customer and p&c make it the staffs fault . Blamed for anything that goes wrong Hr feel they can yell at staff on the floor in front of customers . HR have no clue how to deal with people with depression Hr are condescending Moral in pennys in mary street has never been lower .... People are afraid to confront hr as they intimidate the staff and managment. Wont trust staff to do there jobs . Hr comment on people personal looks Hr scream at there staff and feel it is ok to do so unless a pre 96er is around Older staff have no benefit of times served they try to give there late shifts to long standing staff . Reward new staff with earlys and weekend off while old staff are left to work all the disliked hours

I worked at Primark part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Penney’s is a great place to work. Great benefits. Good Pay - goes up every year(max 5 years) once made permanent. Fantastic staff.

    Cons

Work-Life balance isn’t the best. As it’s shift work, you’re not guaranteed certain days off a week. Personally didn’t like that you could work late shifts and the next day do an early, found it very difficult.

    Advice to Management

More focus needed on the wellbeing of your staff.

    I worked at Primark part-time

    Pros

Excellent compensation and management was generally very good. Fellow staff were great to work with and the job allows for teamwork and communication on the shop floor.

    Cons

Work can get repetitive after while e.g. continuously refolding the same table or putting back shoes over and over when shop is very busy.

    I worked at Primark part-time

    Pros

Always accommodating with college hours Never put pressure to have work done when the store is busy Managers very approachable and available to help

    Cons

Sometimes have to work long hours and finish late

    Advice to Management

Readjust how to deal out roster, some people only get early shifts and some people only get late shifts. It'd be better if every month, an employee had one early Saturday, one mid and one late and then a wild card for the last one!
