Pros

Meet some cool people, don't have to work deal with anyone except the operations manager ocasionally, set your own hours.

Cons

They lie about what your going to average for pay. They run ads claiming you will make anywhere from 20-35 per hour. In reality because your a I9 contracted worker you might make about 8 per hour after taxes are taken out at the end of the year and you add in the cost of gas for your car. Not to mention the wear & tear is hard on your vehicle also. They don't tell delivery drivers they have to get commercial insurance to be a driver. Most college students who work for them dont know any better because they make them sign a contract and pass a motor vehicle background check to see if their insurance will cover them. Friend of mine was in a accident while on a delivery. Didnt know anything about needed commercial insurance. He had to pay $3000 out of pocket to fix his vehicle and they would'nt even comsider helpin him out. Totally ignored his emails an calls from the corporate operations guy. The majority of The feedback your reading in here thats positive is all from the corporate location so most likely upper management writing the reviews to make themself look good. They recently were bought out by Groupon which was rated one of the worst companys to work for the past 3 years an there stocks were barely at $3 a share. Anyway don't fall for their trap they put nothing but a bunch of the CEO's friends in high level executive positions that they dont know how to manage. Its a real poop show is what the local management told me.

Pros

you get paid sometimes I have to put in multiple words because there is a 20 word minimum so ok

Cons

The app is glitchy. Their customer service is awful. They have a face book page for venting about issues but if you actually call attention to actual issues in a professional manner they will delete them. They offer bonuses for certain times that you may not receive if you have a certain cell carrier like T-Mobile. They won't tell you that during orientation though. They have multiple channels for "support" but no issues are ever resolved.

Don't care about the people

Pros

OrderUp sets you up really nicely in a cookie cutter fashion type franchise. This can really help someone get started if they are wishing to do their own thing, but don't really have an original idea.

Cons

These guys don't care about the people working for them or working as a market owner underneath them. During my short time there, i saw them fire very important people. These people would do all the work for the company and then be displaced like they were nothing. They treat the market owners with the same lack of respect and seem to push market owners away so they can own territories for themselves.
