Everything about omni screams toxicity. From unfit managers who don’t know how to lead, to terrible directors. You work for omni if you’re desperate for a job, are young and naive, a narcissist or you just really need a remote job. The environment at omni is not suitable for individuals who have good character or integrity. Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews, they’re fake. Rules don’t apply to everyone at omni and if you want to progress the only way is to be a brown-noser. The directors and senior managers are the only ones who have been in the business for a number of years. This is a red flag. They’re a cult of toxic people who will protect each other when one of them does something clearly inappropriate or even unlawful. This is a company that won’t escalate clear worker violations and will lie to your face about the actions they’ve taken to “fix“ your issue, while protecting one of their own. They prey on young people with their trainee/ graduate scheme to attract inexperienced and desperate workers who they can pay below the market while overworking them. This is by far the most oppressive and depressive place I’ve ever worked in. My advice for you would be to avoid at all costs. Like every toxic relationship, if you’re desperate enough to join omni, the first couple of weeks or months will feel nice, then you will slowly start to feel the gaslighting, passive aggressive attitude of senior members of your team, misogyny, bullying disguised as banter and constant micro-aggressions. The wage gap at omni has nothing to do with gender, it’s all about who gets on best with who. No merit is given where it’s deserved. There’s plenty of work available. Don’t waste your time at Omni RMS.
