Pros

Some of the people are nice. Sports and social occasionally organise coffee mornings and nice treats / social events.

Cons

The Galway office is dark, stuffy and in dire need of modernisation. Poor product and people management in general, you'll spend far too much time in 1-2-1s or creating technical debt and seldom get opportunities to address it. Also very high staff rotation for such a small team. Most of the tech stack is out-dated. Products are poorly documented, if even. Products never seems to get EOL, overall system has become bloated. Salary is below average, pay increases do not match inflation. Have been looking elsewhere throughout my time here.

Pros

Worked with some fantastic people Gained some great knowledge and experience from those I worked with Previous head of my department was very considerate of certain issues I had at home Regional management have always been great WFH was great till they decided RTO would help morale and instead it went the other way

Cons

Where to start.... A clear lack of truth from the new management and regime Telling members in teams that have survived a cull they are secure only to axe more people later Lack of appreciation for certain teams and persons especially those who point out where things need to be improved or rectified Massive divisions and morale issues once the company started outsourcing roles and whole departments to India Refusing to listen to concerns of customers and instead just pretend everything is fine till they threaten to leave Aggressive and intimidation tactics used in order to get people to achieve results or to make management in areas look good A general lack of appreciation for anyone thats not in the inner circle of the new regime and management

Cons

No career opportunities. Salary. Negligent management. Favoritism. Failing to adopt to market changes.
