Neutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Monroe Community College full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
The benefits offered were exceptional, there was also a very nice organizational culture with approachable administration. There was a sense of camaradery between colleagues and they offered a lot of professional development opportunities within the college.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Monroe Community College full-time for less than a year
Pros
Free housing and utilities, tuition reimbursement, professional development funds, great benefits
Cons
Overwork their employees. You are getting paid for 40 hours/week but you'll be working 50 hours. They do not have enough staff for the size of the campus. RDs are on-call for emergencies 25% of the time. You'll regularly work nights, weekends, and holidays. You will often be up until 5am dealing with resident problems, fights, parties, medical emergencies, and suicidal residents. You will not be properly trained to... handle these incidents. Sexual harassment is not taken seriously.

Fire everyone. Start over. Hire more staff (at least 7 RDs).

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Monroe Community College full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
Most of the pros are now gone. Once was a flexible, nimble, caring institution.
Cons
Severe and unnecessary changes so that the current president controls everything. She's hired yes men and women to do what she wants. This has led to a disastrous decline in enrollment.
Advice to Management
Fire Kress
