Good people at the bottom of the ladder. Hard working despite tough conditions. Night work is bearable as you can avoid the worst of daytime so-called supervision.

Cons

Terrible middle and upper management. Staff are overworked and underappreciated. Morale is as low as it can get.

There are people there that view everything and everyone as tools for their own purposes. To the extent that they act in ways that defy sense and logic.

A manager gets to collect their pay and pretend to do their work for years, Mitie relies on good people who care about at the very least avoiding harm being done to their employer and their colleagues working in their own time and to their own detriment to correct the harm done by selfish managers. So I guess good people are there?

Cons

Mitie not only enables but actually supports bad people to do real harm to Mitie, which is obviously insane. If the CEO does not care about good people using their own time and energy to correct harm done by bad people paid by Mitie (which he should btw) then he really should care that he is paying people to do nothing but harm to his company.

Pros

Lots of good people here, some with great ideas and work ethic. Work from home options good for many in the corporate teams. The Shard is a great building although the floor is far too crowded.

Cons

VERY tight margins which is noticeable throughout the company. IT struggles to support the business, possibly because of always being the victims of budget cuts, but also because of poor leadership. Below average pay. Top leaders seem to baby certain parts of the business that are underperforming, and instead pillage the ‘easy targets’.
