    Cons

Extremely toxic environment. Horrible benefits and too much work.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Unfortunately there is really nothing good to say about the New York Office.

    Cons

There has been stealing of credit from a Shareholder at the New York City Office. Who steals credit and time from other Attorneys. Look for another place to work. Nobody stop this Attorney, and there is a lot of Favoritism here.

    Advice to Management

An investigation should be done about this.

I have been working at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The attorneys and staff in the office are all great people to work with. It is a team environment, with everyone helping out when necessary. I could not ask to work with a better group of people.

    Cons

I can't think of a true "con". Since I have to work, I am glad to work here.

    Advice to Management

A new office manager has been hired and she is proactive and eager to help.

I have been working at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Nice co-workers for the most part.

    Cons

Understaffed and overworked. workload is unbalanced. some have barely any work while others have too much. Administrative assistants are expected to do too much clerical work and cannot get to the real legal work.

    Advice to Management

Hire clerks to do the clerical work. Allow the administrative assistants to do more of their attorneys’ work rather than giving it out to people who are not familiar with the cases.

    Pros

Affordable insurance was the only “pro.”

    Cons

If like to be overworked and underpaid—then this place is for you! If you like to work in a “high school” type environment, including all of the cliques and gossiping—then you’ve hit the jackpot here! I worked out of one of the New York offices. Terrible. Undisciplined, rude and caustic environment. The managers including the regional managers, do not have the skill-set needed to run a productive and congenial... office. Their way of managing the office is to go behind closed doors and talk about people. No leadership or coaching extended. (This is sad bc managers are in charge of people’s careers while they are there.) The attorneys are overworked and therefore put out “shoddy” work at times. The “rules” of the firm were strict and unforgiving. This company does not believe in giving ANY perks to their employees. Only shareholders get bonuses—so going above and beyond your designated role is not rewarded. Honestly, this was one of the worse run law firms I’ve ever worked at. Glad I moved on.

    Advice to Management

Offer TRAINING courses to your managers and regional managers so that they know how to deal with employees! Just giving someone a title does not make them qualified. Because of that, turnover will continue to be high. Also, throw employees some perks now and then. Heck, even a dog likes a bone every so often!

I worked at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Infrequently expected to work over the weekend.

    Cons

There is a lot of associate turnover in the Philadelphia office. Hours are ridiculously high for little pay and no bonus. Some partners regularly harass associates without consequence, even when the conduct is reported. Management ignores these issues, especially when it involves partners, who bring in a lot of business. Women have very little chance of making partner, especially if they have a family. Immoral.

    Advice to Management

    Wake up.

    Pros

A lot of nice people and talented attorneys.

    Cons

Pay is low and billable hour requirements are very high. Management is indifferent to associates, and ignores issues within the firm unless they’re at partner level. There is a lot of turnover at the associate level because of this.
