Dear reviewer, thanks for your inputs. Here is my take on what you consider as cons - 1. Pay is considerably less - If you really felt so, you need not have joined. At the end of the day, I do not remember compelling you to join. If you feel so entitled, what stopped you from joining an internship that paid you more? I promised you a certain stipend for the internship. If you felt that was low, why join in the first place? If you join, why whine? As the founder, I am committed to building a business that attracts the very best students that are interested in embedded systems, AI, IoT etc. We certainly are not interested in attracting people who accept the rules of the game and still whine. 2. I did not promise any team-oriented project. Makerdemy is not an extension of college. We prefer people who are independent learners and doers, who see the internship as a mutual win-win. Dear reviewer, thanks for reviewing us. For the record, you were fired from the company for inappropriate behavior. I would like to mention this in the spirit of full disclosure. Now, let me address some of your perceived cons. 1. "There is no clear career ladder" We are a startup and a young company. We are not a company with 3 Lakh people and 30 rungs to climb. That said, we offer above-average career growth for motivated people. We are no different from many other young companies in this regard. 2. "you will be a jack of all trades and a master of none in terms of technology" - Not true. You may well be a jack of all, but that would be on account of how you have approached your work. Our people, who have been promoted repeatedly, are masters at what they do. 3. "Not a place for who wants a chilled out workplace with some friends at the workplace" Well, we prioritize excellence over "chilling out" and employees finding dating partners at the workplace. Sorry to disappoint you here. 4. "Not a place for those who wants peers to learn from" Given that we have a largely very young team, peer learning is over-rated. Of course, we provide opportunities for people to learn from the best, though. 5. "Not a place for who wants to do something other than teaching" Well, I thought this must be quite obvious. But looks like it isn't. We are an ed-tech company and we aren't the best place for those who want to do something other than teaching. Only a retard would join an ed-tech company and would want to do something else. If you want to make electric cars, for instance, you should go join Tesla. Please don't come here. 6. "Not the place for who wants to implement systems in real-life use cases rather than just teaching" Only a retard would join an ed-tech company and want to "implement systems in real life". Why don't you join a company that "implements systems in real life" instead? 7. "Not for those if you are not comfortable being monitored constantly" If you lie and cheat and don't actually do the work, you will be monitored and get eventually fired anywhere else as well. This much should be obvious to you by now.
