I have been working at Mahindra Satyam full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - global presence - good client roster including many Fortune 500 companies - "Practice" approach to building competency - CMMI Level 5 capability

    Cons

    - Compensation - Insufficient allocation of resources towards competency building

    Advice to Management

To mine the potential within the company, existing talent needs to be valued (both in salary and role terms); otherwise there will be a 'revolving door' phenomenon costing the company talent and money

I have been working at Mahindra Satyam

    Pros

If you are in good project or domain then life will be ease.

    Cons

While considering for project or appraisal, still manager play a vital role. It doesn't matter how good you are with your work, matters how close with your higher hierarchy and manager. No visibility in promotion and deployment in project. Now lots of other unnecessary rules after adding mahindra in name.

    Advice to Management

At the time of appraisal, don't show your back...It's just discouraging gesture :( While making decision make sure employee should be in priority. Provide the opportunity and see the result. And please make sure manager to be more accountable and freedom for employee to choose project according to their professional aspiration.
