    Pros

Many good people in the regions - passionate about doing the best for the Co.

    Cons

HQ is very political, favors Danish and UK people over other nationalities. Maersk values are not followed by the existing management

    Advice to Management

Change your near management; you seem to reshuffle the same people. If people failed in Damco what makes you believe they will do a better job in the new Logistics dpt at Maersk. Fresh up the blood of the top management.

I have been working at Maersk Group full-time

    Pros

Punctual payment of salary, heated offices

    Cons

No prospects because of rope teams, unreliable, demotivating, inhumane. Employees over 40 no longer have development opportunities - they are expected to leave the company voluntarily, exception: danish employees worldwide.

I worked at Maersk Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good pension scheme. Fruits and coffee for employees.

    Cons

Lot of work already given to offshore vendors where quality and data security is compromised. Lack of flexi working. Employees indirectly threatened with dismissals during 6 months probation period. HR department is the worst and highly uncooperative. Dont even think of reporting any issues them, all issues are conveniently covered up. If you report issues, managers indulge in threats and bullying and their wrongdoings are covered up by HRs. Work culture is far worse than their Danish company A P Moller Maersk.

    Advice to Management

UK office is completely opposite to Denmark office in terms of work culture. Zero respect for Data Protection. No actions are taken against wrongdoings of managers and HRs as they conveniently support each other.

I worked at Maersk Group full-time

    Pros

Open use of mobile phones (you can use your earphones for music, making calls, etc.) it is okay to speak Tagalog to Filipino employees (but not to foreigners, and admins of course), not strict in terms of dress-codes, unlimited coffee, break-all-you-want as long as deadlines are met, trainings are provided especially to those who are not meeting the target score, free meals/GCs are given to employees who work on holidays, during typhoons, etc. Employees are friendly and helpful.

    Cons

Required overtime. Overtime are not paid most of the times, unless approved by the manager, too many workload, Salary are low (differs per department), newly hired were given a much higher starting salary while the tenured employees need to work hard just to increase their appraisal (which was oftentimes unfair, because "friendship" matters to some managers). During the times of Danish managers, I can say that the work is balanced. But when Indians came and managed the department, employees got so exhausted due to overtimes and bulky workload which needs to be done within shift.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees. Give them the pay that's equal to their effort to meet your deadlines. Even paid overtimes will give them a smile on their face. Be not so tight with the deadlines of your bulky workloads. It is okay to render overtime if your system is also fast-paced. If your system is under test, please do not give deadlines because it's too frustrating to your employees.
