I have been working at Maersk Drilling full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good pay and culture Pretty relaxed working environment

    Cons

You need a Danish passport to progress.

    Advice to Management

Stop talking about being inclusive and not wanting only Danish people when actions on promotions don't stack up against the words.

I have been working at Maersk Drilling full-time for less than a year

    Pros

the working enviornment is quite easy and sometime too relaxing. The culture of Maersk Drilling is still quite similar to Maersk Group because they just separated from it 2019 April.

    Cons

The Maersk way of getting a promotion is that you will have to go mobile, or you will have to really know how to sell yourself -- not that relevant of the work itself sometimes...

    Advice to Management

Focus more on what people do and how they can do it smartly. Not only what they say.

I have been working at Maersk Drilling full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

State of the art rigs and equipment. Good colleges

    Cons

Not looking after their people. Removed all benefits last year like Christmas gifts, and reduced overtime pay and pension.

I worked at Maersk Drilling part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great people, always reachable when you had problems Good hourly pay ( compared to hourly salary in other companies in Denmark) Great staff benefits ( massage, gym, etc.) even for student assistants

    Cons

Repetitive tasks during my time there, only because when I joined MD, it started its organisational transformation, student assistants took lots of operational tasks.

I worked at Maersk Drilling full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Rigs are quality. Co workers are nice. HR coordinator VERY nice lady.

    Cons

Nepotism within the company. They no longer care about their people The old man died and standards have dropped If you stop the job for safety reasons you're history, obviously they wont say thats, they simply manage the people out. Some OIM's and Toolpushers judge and then get rid of people based on wether they personally like theml or not instead of thier work skills/ability. Poor integrity Fake standards

    Advice to Management

People are loyal to people not comapanies, treat them unfairly and others will notice.
