I have been working at Lowe's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I feel like I am not constantly micromanaged and checked on all the time. They trust me to do what i need to do without nagging me or constantly telling me what my priorities need to be. Also feel comfortable talking to any level of management of any department, if I have questions or concerns. I never feel like i can't speak with management.

    Cons

Currently at least we are understaffed, so the departments are barely covered for all hours. So, sometimes it is difficult to have to cover multiple departments or go your lunch after finding someone to cover your department for calls or call buttons.

    Advice to Management

More communication for upcoming events, or more committees for different store focuses (safety, environmental, events, customer engagement, etc...)

    I have been working at Lowe's full-time

    Pros

They spend a great deal of effort to enrich the lives of their employees. The days fly by, you are either walking in on a Monday or walking out on a Friday, it's great.

    Cons

I really don't have cons that I didn't create myself. I wanted to say that it is a con that the company is hard to get a pulse on. That it is difficult to move up and understand how things are done. But that was my deficiency, not Lowe's'.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing, and it is the little things that matter.

    Pros

    Cons

    Advice to Management

The tone for the store is set by upper management. Consistency of Store Managers and Top ASM's is the key!
