I have been working at Lowe's full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good company overall. Some staffing issues but nothing out of the ordinary.

    Cons

Flex scheduling makes coordinating appointments and a 2nd job nearly impossible.

I have been working at Lowe's full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Beautiful corporate office and genuinely nice coworkers.

    Cons

My team has been understaffed and underpaid (by comparison to industry standards) for some time. HR is not willing to pay for the talent some roles entail.

    Advice to Management

HR should reward and pay the employees worth retaining, rather than losing highly skilled and trained employees to the competition because you aren't willing to be competitive in specialized industries.

    I worked at Lowe's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay was 12.80 an hour to a night stocker which is pretty comparable, great work atmosphere, good vacation benefits and health benefits

    Cons

store had to bring in so much revenue a year in order to have a night stocking crew, management as in all places were a hit or miss. HR was a little shady but later got replaced after I left

    Advice to Management

keep your management diverse and harp on team building, and as a store I like the direction.

I have been working at Lowe's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Like to promote from within company

    Cons

I mean it’s retail hours. Enough said.

    Advice to Management

Not really advice since they do this but more of a reminder to never forget to continue to change with what’s needed.

I have been working at Lowe's full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Corporate rotation schedule, helping people

    Cons

Once a moth within the corp rotation full-time employees have to work 7 days in a row with split days off at end of it. I am glad for the schedule rotation, i always know what days i have off, just would like 2 days off in a row after a long stretch.

    Advice to Management

Remember we still have customers to help, all the other tasks are needed also but not to where it doent get them done because we choose to help customers first.
