I have been working at Lloyds Banking Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nice place to work as people are friendly and helpful. Flexibility in working from home. Easy to get recognized if you show some initiative and try and improve macro's and reporting.

    Cons

Systems are not very robust and because of this a lot of processes are very manual exposing the business to manual errors. Pay is very poor in comparison to similar roles in Dublin. At least €6k in the difference in similar roles.

I worked at Lloyds Banking Group full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Company is recognising importance of workforce and has gradually become a more progressive employer over the last few years: - Focus and awareness of employee mental health - Regularly benchmarked base salaries - Strong remuneration package and benefits - Good work/life balance - Acceptance and adoption of remote working practices

    Cons

Areas of improvement and development of working for a large UK Financial Services business: - Too many bureaucratic layers within organisation makes implementing change activities lengthy, challenging and complex - Improvements to support CPD activities and training should be taken seriously

    Pros

Good overall package and competitive salary

As financial services transformation accelerates in an increasing environment of uncertainty the true value of colleagues has become lost in senior management buzz words, self preservation and being seen to say rather than do the right things.
