      Not positive culture it seems

      18 Mar 2023 - Agent Results Advocate
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Work from home, quality company equipment

      Cons

The positive culture of improving peoples' lives just wasn't there. Each of the ARAs on my team was highly unsatisfied with their pay and the way they were treated by their bosses. Many ARAs at Liveops make about the same or less per hour than the independent contractors, but have to deal with way more stress. High turnover rate in the "vertical" I worked in. The job had several clients with hundreds of agents to be supported inside the vertical. I was expected to blindly support the agents without any real understanding of their respective client programs and phone duties. At best I was a tier one customer service agent that attempted to shush the agents' complaints with a big fake smile. The Liveops business model is to sell human labor at a premium so it can profit from it. And it gets a lot of free human labor.

      Bad company to work for

      23 Mar 2023 - Retail Customer Support

      Pros

There wasn't any that I can recall

      Cons

Management and owners are bad people who don't care about anyone that works there. Extremely time consuming and you can't make any money. Very racist place to work for.

Work Life Balance and Positive Work Culture is not as it seems

20 Feb 2023 - Manager in Scottsdale, AZ
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

The colleagues that I worked with in my departments were the best part.

      Cons

The initial work culture seems great at first but leadership does not support work life balance for employees as they say they do. The stress was not worth the career there. Leadership is heavy handed and can be toxic in certain circumstances.

A classic WFH 1099 job, lacking in every department.

      8 Feb 2023 - Customer Service Representative
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Pay is generally good. - When able to speak to support, they are generally knowledgeable and friendly. I have worked similar jobs, and I feel far more confident with the Liveops team than their contemporaries.

      Cons

      - Mostly unpaid training. You sometimes receive compensation for training the form of bonuses, but only at the end of training. - Only paid while active on the phone. You are not paid when you are not on call. - Payment processor Liveops uses is poor. Takes up to 4(!!!) weeks to get paid. - Communication is poor. You'll get emails every single day about low volume and how they need help right now, but generally everything else could be a surprise. For example, in January I had to take a leave of absence that was cleared with the staff, but I received derogatory marks the following month regardless. - You are a 1099 (meaning you basically have no rights and have to take care of taxes yourselves) but beyond the moderate schedule flexibility you are treated like a W2. You are expected to meet several metrics as the client needs. - Very competitive on obtaining hours and very rigid times to obtain said hours. You could be someone that only works afternoons, but a majority of the shifts you want will only be able to be obtained in the morning once a week. - Poor scheduling system. It tries to prevent people from scripting and auto-refreshing so everyone gets a chance, but it's so overprotective you can get restricted from signing up for work just by having a fast computer.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience as an Independent Contractor with us. As you have described, Independent contractors (1099) are not Liveops employees; instead, you work for yourself as a small business owner. We understand this is not for everyone, and appreciate your feedback and time here.

Having A Wonderful Passion For LiveOps

      13 Sep 2022 - Customer Service Representative
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Allows me to be independent. To be a Contractor (which is another thing I love about this company). I bring my A Game and they appreciate it, along with my passion and Positive Attitude! Former Nurse, and I love, love, love, helping People! LiveOps always has some type of Support, through chat rooms in SLACK, or through finding answers through a Question & Answer System for Assistance, and Meetings with one-on-one with Management!

      Cons

I am one of the original employees that started with Client Bath & Body Works. Only 5 employees still work when joining July 2019. All Management has left that was originally there from the beginning of BBW Client. I loved the fact, when I use to receive Call After Call, loved it. My call ranking score is HIGH, but LiveOps has hired many employees and loosing them just as fast. Another reason why Call Volume has decreased, is due to the many Computer Software changes on the BBW System with many issues that come with new downloads (without - a heads-up to the employees signing on 30 minutes prior to commit time).
