I worked at Leidos full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great benefits, good pay, supportive management, great peers

    Cons

Our division was on a hiring spree so there were many entry-level and under-skilled staff mixed in with highly proficient ones. There was also a huge disconnect in mission and vision between project managers and technicians on the ground.

  2. "Great coworkers, okay compensation"

I have been working at Leidos part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Management is very understanding of times one needs to take off in the case of emergency or urgent matters. Benefits are great, so are the savings offered through their portal.

    Cons

Higher ups will often ignore you, so be persistent in reaching out.

    No Opinion of CEO

I have been working at Leidos full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The mission is interesting and there’s lots of opportunities to learn new skills. A good entry level position for someone right out of college or the military.

    Cons

Turnover rate is terrible. There’s no opportunity here for career advancement. Plenty of work to do but we’re always short on experienced people cause most quit after a year or two. Benefits could be improved as well.

I have been working at Leidos full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Decent benefits, large firm with lots of admin support.

    Cons

Large company divided into a million divisions, each run completely separate and cutoff from the others. Difficult to move between or request support from other divisions. Some programs treat other Leidos programs as direct competitors or threats. Each program will be run completely different, having worked on 2 different ones, one was run extremely well and the other barely kept afloat. All in all, the company does not make retention, development, and professional growth of employees a priority.

I have been working at Leidos full-time

    Pros

Make lots of money deploying. Work with a bunch of 20 somethings.

    Cons

Upper management is underqualified and cares little about employee morale. Little to no chance of career advancement.
