Some children can be difficult with the behaviors that Covid has drawn out!

The children and their families were very kind.

Often would tell you to wait to clock in late if you’re not needed even though you work full time because they’re trying to save. $. Hard to get someone to relieve you to go to the restroom. Does not want you to clock in even a minute before you’re scheduled.. Also wants you to do work off the clock like throwing trash away. Wants you to rush to get the room all clean even when you still have a lot of kids in class so you can clock out exactly on the time you’re scheduled. Never has supplies you need to do the curriculum. When you do get supplies it’s the kind that’s really cheap and doesn’t work. Example would be glue stick. Sometimes there wasn’t toilet paper in staff restroom. A co-worker ended up bringing in some for us. Health benefits was a joke. When they say they offered health benefits, you’re given a name of a person who gives you quotes for health insurance.

The pay is extremely low and the manager is termpramental.

It’s a great place to get experience and the corporate ideas are incredible.

The branch I worked at is a disaster. There are multiple state violations and the rules the corporation set out were thrown out the window. There are a ton of predatory contracts you have to sign to be hired and the administration of my branch made the work environment miserable. Make sure you know what you’re getting into with the individual branches. I’m sure some are great but there is no corporate oversight and you may find yourself in a completely different work situation than what you were promised.

Kiddie Academy is an amazing place to work. I actually currently work at a different location in Austin area for about 20 an hour. The company policies are amazing. The only thing is is that Kiddie Academy is a franchise so therefore each owner can pick their own pay rate so I would continue to work at Kiddie Academy 's, but I would definitely not go to the Fulsher one.

Unfair, wages, do not give a damn if you are sick they want you to work. Literally got fired for not going back to work after leaving the hospital.

This is specific to the Redmond Location The owners are extremely rude, condescending, and abusive. They will say horrible things about you, yell, and embarrass you; then act like nothing happened. They do not care if you are experiencing family emergencies, health issues, or struggles. They play favorites with teachers and will allow their favorites to get away with things that they would yell at others about. Vivek (the owner) is also a terrible gossip and will gossip with all teachers about other teachers. They are also extremely discriminatory, toward parents, teachers, and children! There is constant teacher and Director turnover because no one can deal with being treated that way for very long. I have not only experienced being yelled at but witnesses many others get yelled at in the school halls, kitchen, and office. They also just don’t know anything about childhood education.This is just overall an extremely toxic environment.

Managers were catty and unprofessional. Had an employee always snapping their fingers at me to hurry up despite being with a parent. Negative environment. The managers favorite was exposed to covid in her house and despite state regulations that she had to be out for awhile, she continued coming to work and they tried to hide it and cover it up.
