    Pros

    easy to pick up extra shifts, fun people to work with, 20% discount on food and drink when off shift and 50% off food when on shift, good opportunities for promotion within the pub and internships etc sometimes available in head office

    Cons

    a lot of employee turnover, pay is only slightly above minimum wage, no tips, long hours

    - Free lunches - Decent pay if you're young but it's not a viable option long term -Good bonuses but only if your pub is profitable

    -Stress -Long hours -Childish "high school clique" culture in some pubs but not all -Always under staffed

    Great training (if you can get it) Meal allowance for management Colleagues at pub level - some great people

    Cons

    Long hours (aways well over what is contracted) Incredibly antisocial hours Management above pub level complete shambles
