I worked at InterContinental Hotels Group full-time for more than a year

      Pros

      - People are very friendly - Office is in a nice building - Great balance to work and life - UX Studio allows for working remote 1 day a week

      Cons

      - Efficient and productive meetings - Timelines tend to be expanded because company is so large and its difficult to get schedules always aligned - Company culture is risk averse, though they are working hard to change that mindset. it will just take time.

      Advice to Management

      - Focus team effort on learning fast - Empower teams and allow for sense of autonomy - Digital product should be closer tied to Delivery. Testing and Optimization team should sit in Delivery. Digital side of company should be more focused on technology and understanding what to leverage in the industry to better the product experience.
