I have been working at Insomnia Coffee Company full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free lunch, free hot beverages, part paid breaks, HR are approachable. In my own experience, I was given the full time hours I requested in my interview, and work with a great team. There are plenty of progression opportunities, also

    Cons

Don't really have any cons, to be honest. I work with a good team of people, and I've found my time at Insomnia rewarding.

I have been working at Insomnia Coffee Company full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The team usually is the best part of working in Insomnia. You also can have all the hot drinks that you want for free.

    Cons

Very few opportunities to promote. The salary is minimum wage. The worst thing are the breaks, which are very short and sometimes if you are busy you can not have a full break, because your colleague is alone with a massive qeue.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people, the staff is overwhelmed.

I worked at Insomnia Coffee Company full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free hot beverages. Staff were nice.

    Cons

Would not recommend this company to work for. Was advertised as giving 30-40 hours a week. Ended up with maybe 20 hours a week if you were lucky. Had a number of experiences with HR about trying to improve the management of the coffee shop as each and everyone of the girls working there had a problem with the manager. HR were very reluctant to go on our side and more or less didn't care. For your own sake or if you know anyone looking for a job in this company, don't do it. I thought starting with this company they actually cared about their employees well being, but this is far from the truth. Myself and another girl have left over the same issue. If you need more information please contact me on this

    Advice to Management

Give the hours you actually advertise. Take both sides of an issue and not automatically take the managers word.
