I have been working at Huron Consulting Group for less than a year

    Pros

    1. Good work life balance 2. lots of parties they throw. 3. Helpful higher management and they always keeps on motivating you. 4. free snacks of high premium quality on friday. 5. Even before covid-19 ,they were pretty flexible with WFH policy. 6. No time bounded work ,u don't require to stay in office for 8 hours if u don't have work. I usually go at 12 and leave by 6. 7. one thing that i liked and will miss the most about Huron is the laptop which they provide. They are of very high configuration ,light weight, touch screen "thinkpad" and u will enjoy working on them.

    Cons

    1. resource management on project can be improved. 2. If you want a core software development profile then u might get unhappy. because they work mostly on tools and coding is not much there. 3. you will be forced to log 8 hours everyday and if u fail in doing so...then they will put u in multiple projects which sometimes create a mess. 4. Salary can be improved.

I worked at Huron Consulting Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Huron is an incredible company to work for. A few of my favorite perks were the work life balance, unlimited PTO, summer hours, competitive compensation package, and much more. The people within the company made my experience very enjoyable. Everyone is friendly and willing to help in anyway.

    Cons

If you are prefer Dunkin over Starbucks, you will have to walk to the corner for your coffee :). Starbucks machines are located on every floor in the building (a major pro for some)!

I worked at Huron Consulting Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good benefits Good company if you are young

    Cons

Depending on Project Leader the work life balance can be bad. Also the organization likes young people out of college and promotes them upward without industry experience very quickly. The implementation ROIs are based on other individual assessments who are focused on sales. Hard to implement unrealistic benefit but you are held accountable for it.
