I have been working at Hobson Prior full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Really strong team feel- made to feel valued very early on. Good mix of experienced consultants and new starters in a growing business. Encouraged to speak openly about any training requests/ other requests- and comments are actually listened to! Achievements are well recognised and rewarded.

    Cons

Boring answer but can’t think of any!

    Advice to Management

It is clear that you value people within the business, my only advice would be to continue the approach! It’s a really productive, non-judgemental environment.

I have been working at Hobson Prior full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Team atmosphere – everyone is really friendly and sociable - Great incentives ranging from smaller daily competitions to longer term targets for trips abroad - Thorough training programme and loads of support for graduates just starting out in their career – call shadowing, classroom-based training, personal research project - Achievable and constant promotion opportunities; room for everyone to go as senior as... they want - Run your own desk

    Cons

    - Commission is good but isn’t always paid on time and you won’t get it if you leave the company before it’s paid - Hours generally end up being longer than advertised – 8.30 – 5.30 but people usually end up doing around an hour more per day to get everything done (however as a pro there is no expectation to take work home with you and you can switch off in the evenings and weekends)

    Advice to Management

    - Provide more external feedback from clients/candidates - Do more events with both offices so new starters can get to know everyone better and we can get to know them

All are relevant and targeted to individuals level of seniority . Good future prospects and a clear career path, with lots of advice on how to achieve it.
