    Better salary than competitors Really good benefits (health insurance and 401K especially) compared with competitors in the same industry.


    Glass ceiling when it comes to promotion. i.e. management positions are mostly occupied by people from the owner company in Japan. they come and go every 3 to 5 year as senior management (director, CEO, CFO, etc.) even though some of them don't even speak English. you will never be able to be promoted beyond general manager unless you bring tons of profit to the company.

    Advice to Management

    Decrease the number of people from Japan who occupy important positions when there are fully competent local workers in US. they should be promoted more and given more opportunities to thrive. when they feel they cannot get any higher than a certain position, they will simply leave the company with his/her clients.
