    Culture, ethics, fun, high-performance, training, support, customer-centric

    Cons

    Salaries could be higher but commission is very transparent and fair

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing. Try and encourage the business to take a long-term view, keep focussing on the employees in terms of their wellbeing and development, keep strong customer relationships.

    An excellent place to build a career, challenge yourself on a daily basis, take control of your work and get paid directly related to the effort and work you put in! What more could you ask for?

    None, apart from don't think this is an easy job!

    I have been working at Hays full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Open communication with Senior Management, excellent training and career progression. Clear understanding of performance expectations and support to receive this. Flexible approach to work life balance.

    Cons

    Compared to other industries benefits are ok. A reasonable proportion of pay is commission based which can be challenging as people mature and want to buy a property.

    Consider what can be done to ensure longevity of top perfomers

    Pros

    Career development is well supported. Great collaboration, not only amongst peers but within all levels. Strong communication on business objectives. Flexible working opportunities. Diverse workforce across all areas of the busiess. Opportunity to maximise on career aspirations, not just locally, but Globally.

    Cons

    Benefits, although they have improved over the years, they are still not as competitive as similar organisations. Working hard can be taken for granted and not always naturally recognised.

    Listen to the operational staff, specfically those that have day to day interaction with our clients.

    Pros

    Hays offers fantastic career paths for individuals with the drive, ambition and passion to succeed. There are no limits in terms of progression, as a meritocracy it’s great knowing that all the leadership team have worked their way up and totally understand the business. The values of Hays underpin everything, which is evident from day one. The training is industry leading and new starters are given everything they need to succeed.
