High Turnover for a Reason

Pros

Fun work environment, great benefits thanks to the parent company Allianz Life

Cons

Since hiring Steve Bates as President, the company has been obsessed with eating up smaller competitors to become a "Super FMO". Poor management, no strategy, no vision, and low communication to their "low level" employees has led to great distrust and a very high turn-over rate. Someone quits about every 2 weeks -including Director level (jumping ship to a competitor and former GamePlan President). This extremely competitive company seems happy to treat their employees and clients like they are just a number. The employees smile on the outside and play their games, but talk behind management’s back about the state of the company and their future. GamePlan will likely see many more resignations, unfortunately, Steve Bates and his management team won’t care.

Pros

casual dress, lot's of "play" time. Fun company activities and office antics. Hour long lunch breaks. Nice bonus potential. Fun place to work.

Cons

They treat everyone as an hourly employee and are way too strict about time off for small appointments. Work/life balance is poor. Sexual harrassment is rampant. Even from the executives.

Pros

Fun atmosphere. High energy. Good benefits. Employees treat each other like family. Competitive nature in sales. Good parent company who does focus on employees more than GP does

Cons

Nowhere to go. Leaders are morally bankrupt. Sexual harassment is commonplace. Very politically motivated. "playing the game" is what people do to get promoted rather than by deserving it.
