I have been working at GEICO full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, opportunity for advancement, and very positive company culture.

    Cons

Entry level positions can be a bit rough for some, but you have to pay your dues and it's absolutely possible to post for other positions and move up in the company if you do well.

I worked at GEICO full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The pay and benefits are good in this company. If you are fresh out of high school and looking to make some decent money taking phone calls about insurance claims this is not a bad position. You will be paid good money, you will get great benefits, and you will even be able to move up in the company if you take the position seriously. Also, depending on how much education you obtain while at the company, that would determine how far/high you can go.

    Cons

Worklife Balance. If you are not single or if you are a woman with more than two young children, this job will be hard on you. The hours are not meant to be appealing to people with families, but for the corporate heads who don't mind being at the office all day, every day. Now, if you come into the company with a degree, you can be able to get a TCR1 schedule 8:00 - 4:30 PM and leave on time, everyday Monday - Friday, but if you don't then you will not have work-life balance.

I have been working at GEICO full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Pay is great, profit share is wonderful, great benefits

    Cons

Be ready to be overworked and still told you aren’t producing good enough results. Upper levels of management don’t want to hear what will actually fix the problem, they want to hear what they think will fix it. You WILL work well over 40 hours per week in Auto Damage (without Overtime pay) but always get asked to take on more work.
