I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great place to learn. Develop the correct way. Probably at one of the leading companies in introducing new technologies and doing things the correct standardized way

    Cons

Engineers are better than the money they get paid for. Ericssons model seems to be get two years out of people and all the good engineers who are young with no family leave. RInse and repeat. There are very good engineers there who probably have been lured to stay by the great work life balance, low cost of living, good to bring up a family but a lot of really great engineers are lost because of they do not reward good engineers.

    Pros

    Cons

No pay rise for 6 years very different work life balance dependant of project/department additional work load due to redundancies and people not being replaced

I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide

    Pros

Opportunity to do work in an interesting field with some really great team mates. Trying hard to be more innovative and explore new ways of working. Investing more in r&d now so some interesting projects starting. Some sympathetic management who will look out for you.

    Cons

Salary is growing adrift from market norms and increases year on year are currently small and tracking below real inflation. They try to justify this based on location and work life balance but it doesn't hold that well as cost of living rising here steeply. Management have a tendency to revert strongly to command and control under pressure. Bit cliquey and appointments to roles not always that transparent.

I have been working at Ericsson-Worldwide full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

CPM can be a varied role, with exposure to a lot of different technologies.

    Cons

Heavy Workload meaning almost zero work-life balance. Day to day work is strangled in adherence to processes and procedures. Bonus payments decreasing year-on-year. Company will do anything to avoid giving pay increases.
