Hybrid & nice office Mainly nice staff who are mostly supportive
Cons
Poor Senior Management who do not listen to lower grades especially if early in the door HR clearly don’t have time to help internally as they are so busy trying to recruit new people Benefits as in pension shocking and no health insurance so no perks at all on that front

Nice place to either start career or nest. Very ambitious people will have their wings clipped.

Helpful colleagues, making a real difference for Irish companies. Those with initiative get to work on interesting projects. International organisation that wears many hats. Lots of chance to pivot into new areas and start from scratch on something. Good work life balance.
Cons
Some mediocre management. Political trajectory means making politicians look good come before helping companies in many cases.

Pros
Strong sense of mission, delivering sense of purpose. Good opportunities for anyone that might like to go overseas. Grad programme is good if you get into the right client facing team. But get the experience, and move on.
Cons
An awful culture, few of senior leadership team are in their elevated positions down to excellence of delivery in their prior roles. Its a political snake pit. The harder you work on the things you are supposed to be working on, the more likely you are to go unrewarded. Meanwhile those who focus entirely on playing the game, and focus on their ascension up the career ladder, can spend vast amounts of time doing what they need to do to secure the phantom profile that is needed to hut the next heights. EI has proven time after time that the core values that they keep writing down, are just that, words. Real shame to see a once great organisation being destroyed from within by people who don't really connect with the mission, and definitely care little for their people.

Very poor pay for Assistant Level
5 Jul 2022 - Assistant Executive in Dublin, DublinRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Nice and friendly people. Security of tenure. Great work-life balance, 35 hour week, up to 3 days work from home, and possibility of flextime.
Cons
Rigid adherence to public sector pay structure which means very poor pay for lower grade new hires. Those 'in the door' a while are rewarded quite handsomely. Very difficult for a young person in Dublin to live on the Level B or C starting salaries (23k to 26k). Advancement through the company is partly based on length of service, just hold on long enough and you'll get ahead. Means a new hire has to go to the back of the queue. The office is poorly located in a business park only accessible by driving, a long walk from Alfie Byrne Road, or a shuttle bus. The office is also split across two buildings which means a trek across to either, and the air con is very pooor.
