Pros
Lots of learning opportunities for inexperienced techs Client relationship building | Great client base Amazing Co-workers
Cons
This company has potential to be something so much better for the clients but also the working technicians. The working environment for this company has become toxic beyond anything I could have ever imagined and this is not due to the co-workers. All of this is due to the owner who has the temperament of a 2-year-old and does not know how to contain his emotions. The owner has a great tendency to make a mountain out of a molehill and bashes on his amazing workers for the slightest inconvenience. There is a great deal of "mind reading' you would need to do to be successful at this company. Working here will cause you to begin questioning your own sanity and takes a great toll on your mental wellbeing. Working hours are very inconsistent and the on-call schedule is only known by word-of-mouth. There is no formal structure on how things are run and it is all poorly put together with whatever "hope" is provided. Lackluster communication between techs and management. There is more rarely than not that you will actually be able to be sent out to a client with all needed information to provide a more than pleasant experience to the client. There will be at least 5 times a week you will be sent out to perform a complicated task and provided ZERO information on what needs to be done. This will also make you appear incompetent to the client and can begin to break your relationship with the client. There is no consistency of expectations within the establishment. Owner talks very little of all workers there when they are not around to defend themselves. There is a great deal of client "favoritism" and management will be more than happy to but the "client happiness" over the safety of their own technicians. You are not required to work past operating hours but will be talked down to if you don't Severely underpaid for the knowledge you have. Brand new techs are often hired with more pay than long-standing employees
