Pros

Some people at the company are really friendly and great to work with. The people are very talented and work hard. Very good time off, HSA and 401k are nice.

Cons

CEO is an engineer and DID NOT graduate in business. I personally think his lack of schooling and skills in business is hurting the company. I think he lacks the discipline to separate people from technical ideas and he tries to solve problems using technical skills and doesn't have enough people skills.... empathy, patience, respect for other opinions, to be a CEO and manager of people. CEO has implemented his ideas and if you check some of the other new reviews you will see the pain and anxiety he has caused people at the company. I personally think the CEO will run the company into the ground before he admits that he is making mistakes. I think the people around him, friends and other managers are afraid of him and have given up on trying to help him by pointing out his mistakes. A strong leader listens and learns from his peers and makes the correct changes needed, CEO at Wavetronix will not do that because of pride.

Pros

Wavetronix has good programs to help employees and foster community. Their internship program is very good, and they put a lot of effort into helping us learn and grow and have meaningful work.

Cons

They stopped giving free lunch everyday. There is still lunch, it is just part of their benefits package. So still a plus!

Pros

They are genuinely trying to do business as human beings and not just a profit machine where human beings are treated like cogs. They have fun events and good benefits. A lot to be involved in if that's your thing.

Cons

It can be frustrating how decisions are made, or not made. A lot of bottle necks. Little autonomy.
