Negative Outlook
Approves of CEO
I have been working at University of Pennsylvania Health System full-time for less than a year
Pros
Great exposure to hospital environment if you’re a student of nursing or pharmacy. Benefits are good.
Cons
Rarely ever get trained on anything but med deliveries, cliques all around from “vet” techs, also known as techs who have been around a long time. If someone who has been there for a while decides they don’t like you and tells management that you’re not a good employee, they don’t question it. They only do peer evaluations not manager or pharmacist evaluations so don’t make any enemies.
Advice to Management
Get organized because everything is a mess. Take time to train employees who want to learn instead of overworking others because no one else is trained. Start doing manager reviews based on cameras or seeing workers with your own eyes instead of going off of peer evaluations.
