Long hours - often 12+ a day during night shifts. Frowned upon by senior management when people try and take time back during quieter periods.
The company has taken on projects that are simply too large for them to handle effectively, senior management are workaholics who expect everyone to put the same hours in, with very little downtime (often much less than the legal requirement of 11 hours between shifts).
Senior management do not focus on positive outcomes, instead any minor error is blown out of proportion in nonconstructive ways. Every minute of every day is accounted for and timesheets are constantly questioned - if you log less than 45 hrs in a week, you're not working hard enough. It's perfectly acceptable to log 70+ for the week before though.
Micromanagement is off the scale. No one is trusted to perform their role.
Contractors are actively excluded from any company social events, which creates a divide in the workforce and leads to burnout.
If your face fits, you'll do ok - if not, unlucky.
HR do not care about the employees, they are there as spin doctors for upper management.
Truly the worst place I have ever worked.
