Pros
If you are ambitious, professional and hardworking, they will be quick to promote you and give you a lot more responsibility. On average, the pay is very good, though they expect a lot in return, which suited me well because with my previous employer I spent almost 4 years hearing promises of promotion and pay rise which at the end never materialised.
Cons
At times clients get too demanding, want a lot done in a very short time ; also they sometimes change the brief half way through the design , that can be very stressful
