Relatively relaxing environment - Anonymous employee Toda Employee Review

I have joined them after graduating from college. There were lot of project relating to the commercial and residential design. They teach their employees from scratch.

Lot of overtime. Very busy especially during the high season.

The relatively small size and familiar atmosphere mean that it's not hard to move around, especially as a westerner. There is a lot of work to be done in terms of modernizing the organization and implementing technology.

The divisions between departments and branches mean that it's very hard to implement change. Like many Japanese organizations, the rank and file know the problems but don't feel able to point them out. The upper management is insulated and clueless. The company is not meeting the challenges it needs to if it intends to compete.
