Pros
None. The people may be cool but deceptiveness is definitely not something I tolerate.
Cons
I applied through LinkedIn for an Entry Level Assistant Manager position for a Marketing position. It turned out to be far from what the position said. The actual position required you to do MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) sales, where they give you some pathetic script and you have to stop 200+ people a day into purchasing subscriptions. That's far from being "marketing research" as they advertised in the job description. They were very vague about the pay and the hours are ridiculous. They want you working 10+ hours, 6 days a week on commission with a base pay of $180 a week! I quit my part-time job thinking this company was legit but I was completely ignorant and didn't ask the right questions. Don't fall for the email that tells you out of 100 people, you were selected with 20 others for a second interview. It's flat-out bologna. They are just desperate and want you to feel special. The main concern for them is if you can start as soon as possible. They don't care about your experience, point blank.
