Management culture is very traditional - there is a general lack of transparency when it comes to decision making, poor communication with employees; company values client success over employee welfare and support. Promotion decisions are made behind closed doors and appear to be riven with unconcious bias. Little or no technical training - mostly on the job. Flexible working is better than it used to be (i.e. non existent) but still light years behind it’s competitors. Signs that attitudes are changing slowly. It was always stressful, challenging but rewarding work at TTP - but project teams have been over-stretched and burnt out for several years now. Currently everyone is packed in to the office space like battery hens, a poor open plan working environment Lab space and facilities are currently very poor compared to competitors - most hardware has to be bought on projects.
