Pros

Very well planned Internship, lots of opportunities to learn from your team and also get involved in other teams. You are responsible to deploy EMEA marketing emails and Manage 4 corporate social media channels. Interesting part of the Internship is working with the Sales team to creatively follow up on events and market upcoming events to draw in more customers. Company is very ethical, with friendly management and a very approachable boss (open door 99% of the time). Sometimes the work can be overwhelming, but it is important to learn to communicate issues with your Supervisor earlier rather than later and they are always happy to rearrange the deadline or/and even support you in the task if it is a high priority. For someone like me, who comes from London the city can be quite boring and depressing especially Freising where according to staff working there is also quite boring. However, Freising does have loads to offer if you are here during an Internship.

Cons

The core tasks, Email management and Social media management are extremely repetitive in the sense that you will have the same job every day however understandingly these are very important tasks so while I was doing them I was taking a lot of pride especially the Email campaign management. Also, remember that you will be given projects which will be quite different.

Pros

Great learning opportunity, would recommend to new college grads Above average pay for the industry Very friendly colleagues who want to transfer knowledge WLB is team dependent

Cons

Team has reduced to 1/3 of original size in less than 2 years, but BU is mostly hiring in India Refuses to hire externally in US (only internal reqs) to fill roles lost from attrition, instead management dumps responsibilities on rest of team members (with no pay raise to match) Management refused to address 2025 layoffs, employee morale is very low Limited mobility and (capped) yearly performance bonus Restructured profit sharing to effectively be a pay cut (-7%) Unclear job description, constantly changing priorities, management is out of touch with employees Innovation isn't emphasized, new products are mostly IP re-use Employee burn-out common Definite decline in work culture since 2023 RSU vesting schedule is bad (4 years)
