TKXS is the result of a merger between two fairly mediocre companies in the last year. The companies both had significant organizational issues and the merger is not working well at all. One company had poor management and the other seemingly had none - not the recipe for a successful merged org.
I worked on a large project that was chaotic and poorly planned and organized. It even featured a questionable and rather exotic technical architecture choice. All of that was on the most important project in the collective company's history. People were grinding themselves into a pulp to get the thing done. Dismal.
The technical side of the organization's management are finger pointers who are crisis-driven, meaning they evade problems until they explode. They manage up, not down, and are freaked out by honesty. Management seems to lack even a basic awareness of what people underneath them are doing (at least in Charlotte).
Work somewhere else. Every organization has issues, but this was rather extreme and it was obvious within the first few days.
