Pros
I've been with Synect for more than three years, and I think it's one of the best companies in the Seattle area. The projects are large and steady, and the work is always interesting. The team is still relatively small, which means I've had the chance to collaborate with the owners and managers closely as they've built the company up and positioned it future growth. The best part for me is that the innovation process at Synect is very democratic. Management encourages the staff to champion their concepts and chosen projects, which means there are always new ways to get inspired by the work. Work/life balance is a known concept there, as is the fact that many of us have families and priorities outside of work. The leadership team is very dedicated to their employees, and they've made Synect a comfortable and inspiring place to work.
Cons
A lot of projects are done on tight deadlines, and sometimes they are built on emerging technology. This means things can get a bit chaotic, but it's better managed than at digital agencies I've been with previously.
