Pros

office is located in a good place

Cons

The company is essentially run by a boy's club whose members can never go wrong, no matter how many deals they keep losing. The lower level engineers and newer hires are blamed and thrown under the bus for the lost opportunities and then hounded out of the company under the guise of cultural mis-fit. Work there at your own risk

Pros

Swift Navigation is a fantastic place to work if you're looking for a more mature and startup with real potential. The technology we're building has material traction and is positioned in a massive market, which makes the work feel meaningful and exciting. The company culture is another big plus. In my experience, it's a low ego, non-political environment where everyone's voice is heard. The team is collaborative and supportive, and there's a strong sense of responsibility and respect across the board. The hybrid work setup is also a great benefit, offering the flexibility needed for a healthy work-life balance while still allowing for in-person collaboration.

Cons

Like any growing company, Swift has had some classic "growing pains," but the team is always working to improve and adapt. Another drawback is the lack of a 401k match, which is a benefit at many other companies. Finally, due to the company's size, there can be limitations on clear advancement opportunities. While those opportunities do exist and you can definitely grow your skills and take on new responsibilities, a formal path for promotion isn't always available.
