Poor leadership, lack of feedback culture, poor decision making leading to mass layoffs, high client churn due to unimaginative assessments and limited integrations, talent acquisition lied about health care and benefits in recruitment process.

On leadership: in our most recent employee engagement survey (which had 100% participation), the NPS score for confidence in our founders was 100. We're really proud of that and it reflects the trust and openness we try to build with everyone on the team. On technology and assessments: we won four industry awards last year, including 'Innovation in Recruitment', 'TA Supplier of the Year' at the Personnel Today Awards, as well as Gold for "Candidate Assessment" at the IHR Awards. What we're most proud of is the genuine innovation behind our technology and the real difference our assessments make for clients. We've continued to lead from the front with the recent launch of AI Interview and we're seeing strong client growth with minimal churn. On our team: since our necessary restructure, our employee retention rate has been 98%. We think that reflects a team who feel genuinely valued and excited about where we're heading. On benefits and healthcare: every new joiner receives full, transparent details of their complete package during onboarding, so we're sorry if there was ever any confusion around this. Pros

SZ really lives by it values - it embraces change and new challenges, allowing for autonomy and for individuals bringing their authentic self to work, enabling a good work life balance. We are leading from the front in the HR tech space, which makes it exciting and rewarding to be part of this growing company.

Cons

Not really a con, just an expectation management for new starters to get involved, it's real team effort getting new product to customers, so be prepared to take part in activities that sit outside the norm of your day to day (but the variety is a huge positive for me!).

Pros

- Lots of great, passionate and intellectual people across the business - The product domain is stimulating - Remote setting, but the company allows you to flexibly choose co-working spaces to meet up with colleagues if you wish

Cons

- It's a start up, and the environment isn't going to be for everyone, you have to be very self driven to thrive - The product is picking up a lot of momentum in the market and there is currently a lot of pressure to fulfil a lot of commitments.
