Pros

I work majority of the time from home. The benefits are great - I have 3 weeks paid vacation. I am encouraged to share my opinion. They make changes based on what we as employees experience and voice. We are recognized for our achievements. We receive occasional bonuses. There is some flexibility in my schedule. They provide a phone and iPad, along with all the office supplies you need. They listen when we speak. Somatus changed my life.

Cons

There is alot of change happening - often - because Somatus is a young company that has grown much larger than expected, FAST. Currently, our workload is larger than average, but Somatus is doing hiring that will help solve that issue. The cons are few.

Pros

Literally just the mileage checks.

Cons

Constant layoffs, 3 since I’ve been here for 2 years. Mangement doesn’t care about you or your home life. They want metrics and numbers. You harass people all day even when they’ve declined to verify hipaa and services. They have a whole department for these calls yet leave it to the PHAs on top of their daily work. Even when members say no, they make you harass them again in a few months so they can decline again, leading to getting cussed out and abused by these members. They have no communication with procedure changes and policies. They change every week. You find out until you’re audited. They assign you new regions or other people regions without notice. You go from a manageable panel to a ridiculous amount of patients and they still want you to travel 5/10x a week.
