Pros
working the nyc area was a challege, first you never knew if you were going to work, and worst of all, when you are hired and give them day/days there is no guarentee you will work. Weather will effect your working, and the company placates the schools in that, there is NO help from the schools in setting up, moving heavy equipment or breaking down. You are hired as a health care professional and spend too much of your time lifting, carrying, and dragging equipment up stairs. THAT WAS NOT what I was hired to do. PLUS the fact tha the company needs you to see numerous patients so that they can bill the third party providers make it terribly hard. This is a job, this is not a career.
Cons
dragging equpment up stairs and NO cooperation from the schools no set schedule and you are truly the ultimate at will employee. You work at their will. you need to produce unrealistic encounters so that they can bill medicaid which is their lifeblood. iF YOU HAVE ANY doubt of my accuracy, check how often they advertise for staff??? turnover is a job because no one can tolerate the job.
