Pros
-CEO leads with transparency and intellectual curiosity. I feel very confident that business decisions are based on data and made in the best interest of our employees, partners, and customers. There's the usual startup excitement and risk, of course, but no smoke and mirrors. - Over the past five years, I've had the opportunity to expand and contract my role. Management understands that professional growth looks different for everybody... whether I'm gunning for a promotion or scaling back for my family, I've always felt incredibly supported by my managers. - There is an incredible culture of helpfulness here. People are constantly taking time to support teammates on big projects, answer questions, and celebrate one another's efforts. Since the company is creating something entirely new, there's definitely an attitude of "well, we're all learning this together! Better help each other!" Every day I'm reminded that good-natured teamwork gets you way, way further than cut-throat competition. - People who work here are so bright and motivated. It's truly a breath of fresh air.
Cons
- The pace can be grueling at times, as is the case for most scale-ups. Things move really fast, which can be a tough (or a pleasant?) adjustment for some. - Simplr is growing fast and people are being onboarded quickly. There's a lot to digest in the beginning, but processes are in place to improve it.
