Worked at SD for a while and ended up leaving for a better offer due to lacking compensation
+ Free breakfast
+ Young and friendly co-workers
+ Nice (Soho) office
+ Innovative environment
+ Fun culture (expect to take a lot of shots)
+ Upper management will fund continuing education if you bring forward potential classes or events
+ Reasonable hours
+ Exposure to start-up culture and Saas products
+ Hard work and results are acknowledged by SVP & Accounts
+ If you prove yourself you will be given a shot to have more autonomy and (solely) a title increase
Cons
+ Upper management is not transparent whatsoever about large company decisions
+ Questionable spending of company funds (Kegorator?) rather than bonuses
+ At times, it can feel like your intentionally being bribed with booze to cover up the reality of lacking compensation and benefits
+ No equity for non-dev/engineering
+ No HR or vacation policy
+ High turnover
+ Antiquated understanding of company loyalty
